The Big South Market Barletta The Big South Market are an italian drum&guitar hard rock duo, formed in Barletta (Italy) by Giuseppe Chiumeo (guitar, octave guitar, vocals) and Ruggiero Ricco (drums). The band started in 2015 and played live all over Italy. In 2016 they recorded "Muzak", a five-tracks Ep with stoner influences and heavy southern riffs! The Ep was recorded and mastered by Giuseppe Dentamaro at Golem Dungeon Studios (Bari, It). Ruggiero Ricco is a drummer and member of the Italian thrash metal band "Cancrena" (Underneath EP, 2007, Vision Metal Rec. – Hidden Depravity, 2012, Logic Illogic). He played at many international festivals, including Wacken Open Air 2011 as drummer of “Golem”. In 2010 he played with “The Dogma” as supporting act of “Lordi” in their European tour and during 2013 he played with “Golem” as supporting act of “Fear Factory” in “The Industrialist Russian Tour”. Giuseppe Chiumeo is a guitarist, singer, founder of the crossover band "The Rest Side" (The rough core of things, 2011, Tarock / Black Nutria), produced by Alessandro Paolucci , historical Raw Power bassist. During the years he shared the stage with bands such as One Minute Silence, Blonde Redhead , Verdena , Browbeat , GF93 , Sacrum.
